This easy and flavorful meatball recipe is always a great idea for dinner. You can eat this with your favorite pasta or enjoy it with fresh veggies. Either way this dish will be a hit for the entire family.
Full of Flavor
I prefer to make this recipe with ground beef, but you can also use ground turkey.
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 12 oz marinara sauce
- 1 tbs minced garlic
- 1/2 tbs garlic powder
- 1/2 tbs black pepper
- 1/2 tbs onion powder
- 1/2 tbs adobo
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- handful of fresh parsley, chopped
- Colby jack cheese cubes
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, minced garlic, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and spices. Slowly combine parsley until evenly mixed.
- Spoon out beef mixture evenly, creating 16 circular meatballs.
- Next thumb in one cheese cube in the center of each meatball. Sealing the outside so that cheese does not seep through.
- on medium high heat, cook meatballs in olive oil on each side, for 5-6 minutes, or until cooked all the way through.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and add in marinara sauce. Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
