These Oven-Baked Hot Lemon Pepper Wings are crispy, flavorful, and packed with the perfect balance of heat and citrus. Ingredients
Wings:
2–3 lbs party wings
1/2 tbsp onion powder
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp paprika
1/2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1–2 tbsp olive oil
Sauce:
Buffalo sauce (about 1 cup, or to taste)
1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Pat the wings dry with paper towels.
In a large bowl, season the wings with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, lemon pepper seasoning, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
Drizzle with olive oil and toss until all wings are evenly coated.
Arrange wings in a single layer on a baking sheet or wire rack.
Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through if desired, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Hot Lemon Pepper Sauce
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the buffalo sauce, lemon pepper seasoning, and fresh lemon juice.
Stir until heated through and well combined.
Finish the Wings
Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl.
Pour the hot lemon pepper sauce over the wings.
Toss until evenly coated.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, increase the oven temperature to 425°F for the last 10–15 minutes of cooking.
