Teriyaki Meatballs

These stovetop meatballs are the perfect quick and comforting dinner for busy weeknights. Made with simple pantry ingredients and coated in a rich teriyaki sauce, they come together in under 30 minutes. Using lean ground turkey keeps them on the lighter side while still flavorful and juicy.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (Ground beef works as well)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 Cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 Cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 13 oz Teriyaki sauce
  • olive oil for frying

Instructions

 
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, grated cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. 
  • Roll the mixture into 12 equally sized meatballs. 
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and light coat with oil. 
  • Add the meatballs to the skilled in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, turning every few minutes so that they brown evenly on all sides and cook through completely. 
  • Once the meatballs are fully cooked. reduce the heat to low. 
  • Pour the teriyaki sauce into the skillet and gently toss the meatballs until fully coated. 
  • Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is warm and slightly thickened. 
  • Serve hot over rice, noodles, or veggies.
