Lemon and Sweet Glazed Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar or brown sugar replacement
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lemon wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Season salmon with salt and pepper to taste
  • combine butter, brown sugar, garlic, and spices in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil on medium high heat until sauce thickens and remove from heat.
  • Pour sauce over salmon carefully.
  • Top with fresh lemon slices
  • Cook for 10-12 mins or until salmon is cooked all the way through. Base with glaze halfway through.

Notes

Add a dash of red pepper flakes if you enjoy a little more heat in your salmon.
