Turkey Burger Recipe

No beef? No problem! These turkey burgers are made with ground turkey and full of flavor. All you need are a few key ingredients to make this recipe. Pair them with sweet potatoe fries on the side and you have the perfect meal.

Why use ground turkey?

Ground turkey is rich in protein and low in fat and a healthier alternative to a traditional beef burger. This is truly my favorite way to make burgers and I have perfected the exact measurements. Be sure to let me know if you make this!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
  • 14 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon adobo or all-purpose seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except for the butter. Mix until well incorporated
  2. Portion mixture into 4 even balls to form your patties
  3. Heat a large skillet on medium high heat, adding in 1 tbs of butter and 1 tbs of oil.
  4. Cook patties on one side for 5-7 minutes until browned. Flip over and cook other side for 5-7 minutes. Add in remaining butter and continue to base burgers until fully cooked.
