Cheese Stuffed Meatball Recipe

This easy and flavorful meatball recipe is always a great idea for dinner. You can eat this with your favorite pasta or enjoy it with fresh veggies. Either way this dish will be a hit for the entire family.

Full of Flavor

I prefer to make this recipe with ground beef, but you can also use ground turkey.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 12 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 tbs minced garlic
  • 1/2 tbs garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbs black pepper
  • 1/2 tbs onion powder
  • 1/2 tbs adobo
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • handful of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Colby jack cheese cubes

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg, minced garlic, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and spices. Slowly combine parsley until evenly mixed.
  • Spoon out beef mixture evenly, creating 16 circular meatballs.
  • Next thumb in one cheese cube in the center of each meatball. Sealing the outside so that cheese does not seep through.
  • on medium high heat, cook meatballs in olive oil on each side, for 5-6 minutes, or until cooked all the way through.
  • Reduce heat to a simmer and add in marinara sauce. Cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
