Oven-Baked Hot Lemon Pepper Wings

Ingredients

  • Wings:
  • 2–3 lbs party wings
  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • Sauce:
  • Buffalo sauce (about 1 cup, or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

 
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Pat the wings dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, season the wings with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, lemon pepper seasoning, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and toss until all wings are evenly coated.
  • Arrange wings in a single layer on a baking sheet or wire rack.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through if desired, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through.

Make the Hot Lemon Pepper Sauce

  • In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the buffalo sauce, lemon pepper seasoning, and fresh lemon juice.
  • Stir until heated through and well combined.

Finish the Wings

  • Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl.
  • Pour the hot lemon pepper sauce over the wings.
  • Toss until evenly coated.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.
 
 

 

Notes

For extra crispy wings, increase the oven temperature to 425°F for the last 10–15 minutes of cooking.
